The European Researcher’s Mobility Portal has been created to inform researchers who wish to come to Europe, by publishing the lists of available and requested positions together with information about European grants.

Thirty-three countries are concerned: the members of the European Union and the countries that have applied for membership and are associated to the 6th RDT framework program.

On the portal, public and private European research organisations give information on available grants, job vacancies and required researchers’ profiles.

Researchers of all ages and nationalities can search for jobs on the portal and deposit their curriculum vitae. The search for jobs and grants can be made on European, national or international levels. This search can also be made by scientific area and as a function of the researcher’s level of qualification.

The European Researcher’s Mobility Portal also offers links to the European Mobility Centres which are in charge of welcoming foreign researchers and helping them with administrative formalities (residence card, accommodation, etc).
